While working for Sodexo, the Facility Management (FM) team requested creative support for an event that would bring together corporate leaders, sales and facility managers from sites all over the country. Initially, they provided content for a PowerPoint presentation and asked if I had any ideas on how to make it more interesting. The result was "Make the Case," a board game where teams competed to unlock a new opportunity by showing they understood the client's needs.
While simple in design, it provided opportunity for attendees to team up, work cooperatively and interact with each other - all while learning valuable content. With built-in brainstorming, the game also provided the opportunity for new and innovative ideas.

Design and Development
I worked closely with the FM team to coordinate the project. They acted as SMEs and content creators, scripting additional content where needed. Understanding their goals for the meeting and the information they needed to convey provided a guide to design the mechanics, draft the rules and determine the points system. I relied on their feedback as well as the other artists around me to hone the idea and began developing a style guide.
With the design complete and a style guide prepared, each of the game pieces was designed and produced. Everything arrived on time for the meeting.
